Dulquer Salmaan confirms that he has put ‘Othiram Kadakam’ on hold, for now.

Dulquer Salmaan is basking in the success of his latest release ‘Sita Ramam’. The romantic drama featuring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna has managed to impress the movie buffs, and the film is successfully running in the cinemas. As the promotional events for the film have been wrapped up, Dulquer Salmaan will be starting to work on his upcoming project. One of the most awaited upcoming films of the star in Malayalam is ‘Othiram Kadakam’. Dulquer Salmaan is reuniting with Soubin Shahir after their acclaimed ‘Parava’ and the excitement is through the roof.

Though ‘Othiram Kadakam’ was announced in July 2021, the film is yet to go on floors. Speaking exclusively to ETimes, Dulquer said, “I’ve put the film on hold for now as I have been shooting for some other films with a similar storyline. So we will have to get back to ‘Othiram Kadakam’ after a while.”
