2020 was a fearful year for all of us. People think there is a paradigm shift from 2020 to 2021 but the hopes remain shattered by the Coronavirus .The most dreaded events include the intrusion of an unknown virus, natural calamities, global warming, etc as they are the most discussed topics in todays world. We live in the fear of losing our loved ones and our lives. We hate the idea of our existence on the planet earth without the people who make us feel like humans. But the reality is life-threatening.We, humans, are losing one trait that makes us unique:Yes▁HUMAN. Humans are unusual creatures with special abilities. Humans with big brains and virtues like sympathy, compassion, love, selflessness are undoubtedly distinct from other creature. We had the power to harness the world with our capabilities. But the one thing we failed to notice is that we are changing ourselves. We are trying to find an alternative definition to humanity by superseding human attributes like kindness, sympathy, happiness with the digital life that we prefer nowadays. This is not an abrupt or unexpected change. An advent of the tech era came off with the price of humanity. Humans being social beings tend to fluctuating from social interactions and find their comfort zones within themselves. Social relations that once made him human tends to suffocate him now. He is comfortable in his little shell with no one but him. This is an agonizing change that could be lethal to the human future. A world with deceased emotionless people should be our greatest concern. This is nothing but a clear picture of what the world will look like in the impending future .There is no going back once the world is fully captivated by the inhuman, digital conduct .We have to stand against this forthcoming catastrophe. The invasion of COVID -19 has brought to about a major change in our lives. Mask has become a new normal. The things we consider odd have become normal now. The mask reflects the multiple personalities that we exhibit. The world has changed irreversibly and everyone seems to accept their lives as it is. Does this mean we are starting a new normal? A world without hope where human mortals live their futile lives unaware of what the future holds for them!?
